Good morning all, It's 72 degrees and heading for the 90's again today. Finally the leak was taken care of yesterday. Now, just have to call the others not to come, I got 3 plumbers coming next week.. Nothing much going on here today, maybe some more cleanup.. I made the morning  so please have some before

Morning Friends,
Looks like we're in for some scorching days ahead. I just checked the Weather Bug earlier and we've got several days of 90+ temps. Wow....it's gonna get HOT! Oh well....it is the dog days of summer. Elle, I'm glad you finally found the cause of the wetness. I never thought about the AC doing that. But that would explain it. Just glad it wasn't something more serious! How are Shelby and Sandy doing? Morning Greg, Lil, Vern, ETA and Perry! Hope everyone is doing well today. Not too much on tap for today. It's too dang hot to do much of anything. I just hope that we're not in for a dry hot spell like we were at this time last year. Everything dried up and turned brown at this time last year...and lasted for several months. We've got chances for rain over the next few days...but very minimal chances. Poor Hubby has to work out in this stuff. It takes a lot out of him. So I try to keep some Propel on hand for him. And bananas. We forget that bananas are a great source of potassium and we sweat a lot of that out during the summer months. Off to check the board.....see if I can find something interesting to post....check in later. |

I was so sorry I blamed my poor Shelby for this, I just knew when I couldn't mop it up that it couldn't have been her. Ira also said, "and what
about me"? I apologized to him too. LOL
This happened about 2 years ago, they guy at the time told me to put Clorox in there every month to keep it clear. I didn't.. Guess it really does help. Any ideas on what I could use to clean the big stain I have on my carpet now? It's a large water stain.. 
Shelby and Sandy are doing fine, still giving Sandy the Benedryl at night, she looks forward to it. LOL

You could replace the carpet, you could put another rug over where the stain is, you could buy a coffee table to hide the stain.
Legioners disease was caused by a leaking air conditioner. Water had pooled up, and it had caused bateria to grow, and make people sick. Perhaps you should remove the carpet. No fooling there. The rain which was promised never came our way. It is hot, hot, hot. |

Morning Wine and all! Very late start this morning. No internet or telephone service. Somehow they know not to let the cable TV go down with everything else.
And on a Sunday too. If all 3 had gone out, the people would be ready to run them out of town.

Good morning everyone, It's 77 degrees and heading for the 90's today. It's too hot to even think.. Vern, The carpet that's in the living room goes throughout the house, I can't possibly afford to replace all that carpeting, and what a monumental job that is.. I have a coffee table but that stain is right in the middle of my living room, right in front of the wall unit.. I don't think the table would look good there.. I'll just go get some foamy carpet cleaner and pray for the best.. I made the morning so please have some before

Morning Friends,
Well, we're in for it today. The local weather is issuing heat warnings for today. From 12 noon till 6 pm. So, if anyone has any rain and cooler temps that they really don't want, just send it my way. LOL! I won't complain...I promise! LOL! Morning Lil! Ya know that is something ....the cable company always makes sure that the cable television works...but as for the phone and internet service...wow. That's why I went DSL. I was tired of getting the run around from my local cable company. Several of my neighbors are now upset with the cable company too...they're thinking of going to satellite. LOL! Morning Elle! Hmm, well there is one product that I get at Wal-Mart for cleaning stains out of carpets....it works with the steam cleaner I have. It's made by Bissel and it's in a dark blue spray bottle. (It'll be in the vaccuum cleaner section at Wal-Mart) It does an ok job of cleaning the stain. I can't think of the name of it right off hand. But I do know it's made by Bissel. And I'm sure that Shelby understands. Just explain to her that you know accidents happen. LOL! And a few doggie treats won't hurt. LOL! Morning ETA! How are you doing these days? Staying cool I hope! Morning Perry! Be prepared, there will probably be more heat coming your way. Morning Vern and Greg! Hope all is well there... Not too much on tap for today. I do have to get out this morning and go to the store. I'm gonna try to do that before the heat starts setting in. They are saying it's gonna be a scorcher again today. Heat indices warnings have been issued. From 12 noon till 6 pm. So I imagine I will stay around the AC most of the day. Definitely the dog days of summer.... Off to check the board...... |

We have thunderstorms today. Looks like we might be in for some rain all day. I certainly hope so! We can use the rain. And, not to mention, cooler temps! However it's still humid. Oh well...can't have it all, right? LOL! Not too much on tap for today. Gotta do some laundry in between the storms...some light house cleaning. Not much more than that... Not a drip.
The life of a house husband. I was up early this morning, made coffee, and then breakfast, and then had to run some errands. I made omelets with tomato's. Carol and I went to the Farmer's Market, and bouht some fresh tomato's, and there was one left. So, I diced it up, and put it in well, I call it an omelet, others might just call it scrambled eggs. So for breakfast ' we had O.J., coffee, scrambled eggs, toast, and apple butter. Don't you just hate cleaning up after you cook? I do. |

Rain has moved out of our area. We have clouds this morning...and it is cooler. But it won't last long. The hot temps are supposed to be back later this week. Oh..........joy. Elle, I'll send it back your way if I can. LOL! Hopefully ya'll will get some of that off Dolly. I know it will make landfall well south of you, but perhaps it will change the weather pattern there where you are. Push a front through or something...and cool things off. I saw on the weather channel where most of Texas is in the 100's. Wow....now that's dang HOT! Vern, oh I hate cleaning up after cooking. But there is no one else here that will do it. LOL! So, it's left up to me. Morning Perry.....send some of that rain and cooler temps back this way, ok? Morning ETA, Greg and Lil! Not too much on tap for today. Got my laundry done yesterday. I do need to vaccuum today...so I'll probably do that. Not feeling too good today. I dunno...not really sick or anything. Just don't feel good. Maybe I'll just take the day off. LOL!
